Gelt, is the Yiddish word for money. There is a tradition during Hanukkah, Jewish festival which commemorates the 2nd century Maccabean Revolt and rededication of the Jerusalem temple, for parents and grandparents to give their children “Hanukkah Gelt”, either coins or chocolate money wrapped in silver or gold foil. We chose the word Gelt for our company because it symbolizes giving. Our philosophy is that through hard work and persistence we will be successful and a benefit of success is the ability to give and shave with ones community. We seek to earn healthy profits for ourselves and our investors. The benefit is that we are able to support our community and many worthy causes. This is a passion for us and often a passion for our investors. We are happy to support a growing array of worthy causes and there is certainly no shortage of them. For more information about the causes that we contribute to or to suggest other causes for our consideration please refer to the list below.
